Steve Lee, Sänger der Band Gotthard stirbt 2010

Seinen letzten Auftritt hatte Steve Lee mit Gotthard am 25. September 2010 bei der Miss Schweiz Wahl,
10 Tage später am 5. Oktober 2010 kam Steve Lee bei einem Verkehrsunfall auf einer Motorradtour auf
der Interstate 15 in der Nähe von Mesquite in Nevada ums Leben.Ein Lastwagen geriet außer Kontrolle
und schleuderte fünf abgestellte Motorräder durch die Luft,wovon eines den Sänger erschlug. Lee verstarb
noch an der Unfallstelle. Er ist im Friedhof von Porza begraben.

Am 17. Oktober 2010 fand beim Hospiz auf dem Gotthardpass eine öffentliche Abschiedsfeier mit über 3000 Besuchern statt.
An der Feier nahmen auch seine Band-Kollegen von Gotthard, Steve Lees Lebenspartnerin und zahlreiche Prominente teil.


Steve Lee tuvo su última aparición con Gotthard el 25 de septiembre de 2010 en las elecciones de Miss Suiza,
Diez días después, el 5 de octubre de 2010, Steve Lee murió en un accidente de tráfico mientras realizaba un recorrido en motocicleta.
mató a la Interestatal 15 cerca de Mesquite, Nevada, cuando un camión se salió de control
y arrojó al aire cinco motocicletas estacionadas, una de las cuales mató al cantante. Lee falleció
todavía en el lugar del accidente. Está enterrado en el cementerio de Porza.

El 17 de octubre de 2010, se llevó a cabo una fiesta de despedida pública con más de 3000 visitantes en el hospicio en el paso de San Gotardo.
Sus compañeros de banda de Gotthard, compañero de vida de Steve Lee y numerosas celebridades también participaron en la celebración.
