'Psy Breaks' is inspired by a bespoke sound which was founded in early 2000 by Mood Deluxe, Slack Baba and Digitalis. Over the years it's evolved with forward thinking artists including Far Too Loud, Hedflux, Bad Tango, Monk3y Logic and Neurodriver resulting in a soncially beautiful sub genre called Psychedelic Tech-Funk. Our documentation of this sound showcases hypnotic rhythms, glitchy beats and mesmerising basslines, combined with cutting edge sound design and precise engineering / mastering. A multitude of analogue and digital equipment was used to create this collection including a renowned Midas Venice F32 mixing desk resulting in phat punchy drums, heavy bass, overly saturated one hits, soaring soundscapes, arpeggiated melodies and pulsing grooves. A cross pollination of styles has given us the chance to document, create and deliver one of the most left field Psy collections to date.
