Part 4/5 What you'll learn review of some topics seen in the previous parts time-related prepositions and expressions reflexive verbs talk about your daily routine prepositions: say where you want to go, where you are and where you are coming from cardinal points saying the time in an informal way contractions of prepositions and articles the plural of masculine and neuter nouns Situation: "Deutsche Bahn" talk about the weather sports vocabulary giving directions professions Situations: "Small ads" overview of all the tenses in the German language the tenses "Imperfekt", "Perfekt", "Futur" talking about a timetable at the supermarket introduction to composed nouns some tongue twisters many songs Requirements Ideally, you should already have completed the first 3 parts of the course or be familiar with the topics taught in these parts. Description This course will give you a stable foundation for your endeavour of learning German. In video lessons, I will guide you through lectures which are clearly structured, building up on each other and versatile, including not only grammar explanations, but also a lot of video-guided exercises, vocabulary, additional information. After having completed this fourth part, among other things, you will be able to use your German in different situations such as at the supermarket, when buying a train ticket or asking for further information on the phone, you will know how to talk about the weather, to give basic directions, to say the time in informal situations, to talk about a timetable. As to the grammar, you will feel more confident using the nominative, the accusative and the dative cases, learn many new prepositions (especially time-related and location-related), learn about the plural forms of masculine and neuter nouns, and get a great introduction to the different tenses in the German language (especially the imperfect, the perfect and the future tenses), ... You will also learn a lot of new vocabulary. Should questions come up while learning with my course, please feel free to ask me, I will be happy to answer them. After completing parts 1 - 5 of the course, you should be able to complete the A1 exam. I am planning on making videos for the levels A2 and B1 as well.
