This training will teach the P4 Planning system, which is a simple 4 step system designed to prepare yourself for a Last Planner System® phase pull planning session. P4 Planning visual planning allows trade partners to break down their work and assess if there are any improvements that they can make in their processes to improve themselves. Anytime a trade partner improves themselves, they save time, energy, and money for their bottom line. The value of P4 Planning is regardless of whether you are a traditional scheduling project or a lean Last Planner System® project, P4 planning will improve your efficiency.But before we go into P4 Planning, we guide you through the Lean principles of Lean Construction, the 5S System, and the elimination of the 8 Waste. If you know the lean basics, this will be a refresher course for you. The goal of the course is to teach trade partners how to prepare themselves to manage their work installation process at a higher level of efficiency than ever before using lean principles and methods.
