Description
In this course you will learn everything you need to know to become a nutrition coach who specializes in sports nutrition. This course is taught by Jeroen who is an internationally certified personal trainer and internationally certified nutrition coach with over 12 years of experience helping clients and teaching other personal trainers and nutrition coaches how to better help athletes perform better.You'll learn about what nutrition athletes need and how it might be different from non-athletes. You will learn about the different energy systems and how these relate to nutrition and sports. You will learn about the smallest molecule named ATP that actually produces energy and how it's created within the electron transport chain. You will learn about water manipulation and how each macronutrient is metabolized to smaller molecules. You will learn how to hydrate athletes and what drinks to advise. You will also learn about special techniques like carb cycling and carb loading that might assist your athletes. You'll learn different ways to approach a nutrition plan and how to set up a diet plan for your athletes.By the end of this course you know everything you need to know about sports nutrition and you can actually start coaching athletes the right away as nutrition coach.
